The confined spaces and physical barriers add so much tension. I'm curious if the author envisioned this environment from the start or developed it as the story progressed.

The characters' struggles with vulnerability felt so real. I wonder if this mirrors common fears in real relationships or was a deliberate choice to heighten the drama.

The sex scenes felt integral to the story but also quite steamy. I'm interested in how the pacing of intimacy was planned to serve the emotional arcs.
